Why Volunteer for the EPC?
Chances are that your talents and expertise are valuable and needed. You will learn new skills and build self-confidence in knowing how to be better prepared in the event of a disaster. Full-time residency is not a requirement.
Volunteering with the EPC allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place.

If available, Mobile Medical Teams will be dispatched to residents’ homes to administer basic first aid. Counselors will be available to offer emotional support to those in need.

- Search and Rescue Team – specially trained to search for and rescue trapped residents, administer first aid, evacuation operations, and report damage assessments.
- Air Support – a drone pilot provides the Emergency Operations Center personnel with a quick visual of the community to facilitate evacuations.
- Equipment & Courier Teams – distribute radios, equipment, messages, and supplies to district, medical, and support teams.
