EPC Districts

Sun City Palm Desert is divided geographically into 14 EPC districts. Each district is headed by a District Director. Each district is additionally divided into two or more subdivisions. Each subdivision headed by a Block Captain Coordinator. Each Block Captain Coordinator has seven to ten Block Captains who report to him/her. Each Block Captain is responsible for approximately 15 homes.

For most Sun City Palm Desert residents, their EPC district number is the same as their SCPD district number. There are two exceptions: there is no EPC District 14 and EPC District 15 only covers the area south of Manorgate. Details about these exceptions in the “EPC District Differences from SCPD Districts” section below.

To find the EPC District information for a Sun City Palm Desert residence, visit the SCPD EPC Districts arcgis app. Once there, simply enter a residence’s street address.

EPC District Differences from SCPD Districts

SCPD District 14 – there is no EPC District 14

  • The following Sun City Palm Desert District 14 areas fall under EPC District 1: Springdale, Desert Willow, Yucca Blossom, and Willowrich.
  • The following Sun City Palm Desert District 14 areas fall under EPC District 5: Orangecrest, Putting Green, Fallbrook, Chardonnay, Brandywine, Fume, Burgundy, Quiet Springs, and Belek.

SCPD District 15

  • The following Sun City Palm Desert District 15 areas fall under EPC District 1: Rainbow Drive, Breezeway, Blue Sky, and Silent Drive.
  • South of Manorgate falls under EPC District 15
